Ready to sign up for your test? Here are a few simple guidelines to help you through the registration process:
The easiest and fastest way to register for the SAT is online. To register online and pay your child’s registration fees via credit card, please visit the College Board’s SAT Registration website.
If you need to register by mail, ask your school guidance counselor for an SAT Paper Registration Guide. If you plan to pay the registration fee by check, you must register by mail.
If you miss the registration date, check the late registration dates listed on the College Board’s SAT Test Dates website.
The SAT registration fee is $45. If you register late, there is an additional late registration fee of $23.
Fee waivers are available for some eligible students.
If you wish, during registration you may select four colleges to receive your scores. You can add additional schools for $9.50 each, or you can choose to send your scores later, (once you have seen them) for $9.50 per report request.
