    Tangent Triangle

    Alternate name
    Definition

The tangential triangle is the triangle Δ T_A T_B T_C formed by the lines tangent to the circumcircle of a given triangle Δ A B C at its vertices. It is therefore antipedal triangle of Δ A B C with respect to the circumcenter O. It is also anticevian triangle of Δ A B C with the symmedian point K as the anticevian point. Furthermore, the symmedian point K of Δ A B C is the Gergonne point of Δ T_A T_B T_C. The tangential triangle is the polar triangle of the circumcircle.
