GRE Test Prep Tutoring: In Home & Online
Getting ready for grad school? Club Z! Tutoring of Milwaukee, State 2 GRE tutors can help you prepare for the GRE that is required for admittance to most graduate study programs in the US. Our GRE program identifies your weakest areas up front and then tailors a GRE study program for you to focus on those, while also providing a comprehensive review of all the areas of the GRE test, study tips, homework to help you solidify your preparation and a full, timed GRE practice test at the end of GRE tutoring to make sure you are ready for the real thing. Graduate school candidates will need to take the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) prior to admission to most graduate programs. Some programs may use a different exam, such as the GMAT, required for applicants to many graduate business school programs such as MBA programs or the LSAT for law school candidates. Be sure to check with your program entry requirements. The GRE Exam consists of six sections covering three specific skills areas: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. The GRE takes 3 hours and 45 minutes which is divided as follows:
Analytical Writing: 2 sections, 30 minutes each, requiring the test taker to analyze an Issue.
• This section examines the student’s ability to understand and convey complex ideas, as well as provide discussion and analysis of the passages involved
Verbal Reasoning: 2 sections, 20 questions per section; timed 30 minutes each
• This section shows how well a student can summarize data, draw conclusions, and understand concepts in text.
Quantitative Reasoning: 2 Sections, 20 questions per section; timed at 35 minutes each
• This section involves mathematical skills and challenges the student to apply basic algebra, geometry, or data analysis skills.
