Pre K Tutoring: In Home & Online
Starting school is a major milestone in a young child’s life, which can often be accompanied by fear and anxiety for students and parents alike. Students are exposed to new settings, new schedules, new environments, and new learning expectations that can make the experience harder than it needs to be. With Club Z! Tutoring of Richmond, TX proprietary kindergarten readiness program, we will help your child prepare for their first big day! Our proprietary Let the Learning Begin™ pre k tutoring program makes preparing for kindergarten as easy as 1-2- 3! Our Let the Learning Begin™ pre k tutoring program is a proven 3-pronged approach that we refer to as “Think about it!, Go for it!, Recall it!” This format allows students to build important motor, cognitive, and language skills through fun, engaging, hands-on activities and lessons using themes such as Animals or Building a House. The lessons throughout the program focus on everything from recognizing letters, numbers, colors, and shapes, to proper pencil holding techniques, and letter formation. We built this pre k tutoring program in order to help your child start the school year with confidence!
The Let the Learning Begin™ program starts with a Kindergarten Readiness Checklist, and each lesson concludes with a feedback form so you can track your child’s progress every step of the way. Our pre-K tutors are thoroughly background checked and screened, and have demonstrated a passion for working with students, and helping them build confidence!
Parents who are interested in taking it a step further are encouraged to check out the Club Z! Kindergarten readiness program, Let the Learning Begin™, which is designed for children ages 3-5. Each lesson in the program is designed to take place in a one-hour time span, with 30 minutes dedicated to tutor-initiated activities and 30 minutes dedicated to child-initiated activities. Tutor-initiated activities include any lesson or activity that is selected by the tutor.
Child-initiated activities include any lesson or activity that is selected by the student. This can take the form of structured or un-structured play – the child can either choose to engage in a lesson plan/activity relative to their expressed interest, or they can simply choose to engage in open play time. The tutor’s role is to relate the activity or the open play time to the cognitive, emotional/social, language and/or motor skill development goals associated with that day’s theme.
After 20 years in the tutoring industry, we’ve learned a few things about what it takes to help students succeed.Sure, we may be biased, but we truly believe that no other tutoring company cares as much about its clients, or goes to as much trouble to ensure their satisfaction and success as Club Z!
