Pre-K Tutoring: In-Home & Online
Starting school is a major milestone for children and families. New settings, schedules, and learning expectations can take time to adjust to. At Club Z! Tutoring of Essex & Morris County, our Let the Learning Begin™ kindergarten readiness program helps children practice foundational skills through engaging, hands-on activities.
Personalized Kindergarten Readiness Support
Our Pre-K tutoring program uses the three-part approach “Think about it! Go for it! Recall it!” to support motor, cognitive, and language development. Lessons use themes such as animals or building a house to introduce skills through activities and play.
Learning activities include:
- Recognizing letters and numbers
- Identifying colors and shapes
- Practicing pencil grip and letter formation
- Building language and communication skills
- Developing fine motor skills
- Practicing recall and following directions
Pre-K Tutoring for Children Ages 3–5
Let the Learning Begin™ is designed for children ages 3–5. Each one-hour lesson includes approximately 30 minutes of tutor-initiated activities and 30 minutes of child-initiated activities.
Tutor-initiated activities are selected by the tutor to support the lesson’s learning goals. Child-initiated activities follow the child’s interests and may include structured activities or open play.
During child-led activities, the tutor connects play with the cognitive, social and emotional, language, or motor skills associated with the day’s theme.
Parent Feedback and Progress Tracking
The program begins with a Kindergarten Readiness Checklist. Each lesson concludes with a feedback form to help parents follow their child’s progress and understand which skills were practiced.
Our Pre-K tutors are screened and background-checked before hiring. Tutor matching considers the child’s learning needs, preferences, and personality.

Testimonials
Club Z! has connected me with a tutor through their online platform! This was exactly the one-on-one attention I needed for my math exam. I was very pleased with the sessions and ClubZ’s online tutoring interface.
My son was suffering from low confidence in his educational abilities. I was in need of help and quick. Club Z! assigned Charlotte (our tutor) and we love her! My son’s grades went from D’s to A’s and B’s.
I’ve been using Club Z’s online classrooms to receive some help and tutoring for 2 of my college classes. I must say that I am very impressed by the functionality and ease of use of their online App. Working online with my tutor has been a piece of cake. Thanks Z.
Jonathan is doing really well in all of his classes this semester, 5 A’s & 2 B’s (he has a computer essentials class instead of PLC). In his Algebra class that Nathan is helping him with he has an A+.
Sarah is very positive, enthusiastic and encourages my daughter to do better each time she comes. My daughter’s grade has improved, we are very grateful for Sarah and that she is tutoring our daughter. Way to go ClubZ!
