Before registering, they will need to create a login with the College Board. When Should I Start Prepping?We recommend that your child starts preparing roughly 5-12 weeks to prepare for the SAT.Whencan I take the SAT test?The test is administered 7 times a year in January, March, May, June, October, November and December. Most students take the exam two or three times to ensure their scores represent the best they can do. For the most part, students try their first attempt at the test in their Junior year, and then again in the fall of their Senior year, but that decision is up to you and your child.What is the deadline to send in my SAT scores?Usually all schools will accept scores from December of your child’s Senior year. After December, it depends on the school they are applying to.Can I send colleges only my highest SAT scores?Students are able to choose which test results they would like to report to prospective schools. However, a number of schools requested that applicants send the results of every SAT test they have taken. Check with the schools in which your child is applying, to see their policies prior to the start of the test.Should I guess answers on the SAT?There is no guessing penalty.
