    Jonah Formula

    Definition

    A formula for the generalized Catalan number _p d_(q i). The general formula is (n - q k - 1) = sum_(i = 1)^k _p d_(q i)(n - p i k - i), where (n k) is a binomial coefficient, although Jonah's original formula corresponded to p = 2, q = 0.
