For many students, the college application process can be a long, seemingly endless journey, filled with stress and anxiety. And as parents, we feel every bit of that angst. But perhaps the most dreaded piece of the process is writing the college admissions essay. Students agonize over what to write about - that trip to Europe last summer, volunteer experience with Habitat for Humanity, rescuing the neighbor's dog? What life experience will showcase your talents and abilities and help you stand out from your peers in the eyes of the admissions board?
