    Computer Programming and Coding Classes Forming Now!

    Coding and Computer Programming
    Online computer programming and coding classes are available to students of all ages. No prior coding or programming experience required. Must Register Online.

    Our online computer programming and coding classes are 2-week long courses with varying topics. Students receive live instruction from a highly qualified programming instructor using our virtual learning platform.

    Week 1

    • Class 1: What is a robot? Introduction to icon programming and downloading a program.
    • Class 2: How does a robot work? Students will learn about electric circuits and create their own squishy circuit.
    • Class 3: Kinetic and potential energy, the engineering design process and build your own robot.
    • Class 4: How does a robot move?
    • Class 5: Overview of Edison programming icons.

    Week 2

    • Class 1: Maze programming challenge.
    • Class 2: Sensing and detecting obstacles with a robot and the programming behind it.
    • Class 3: Line sensing and tracking with a robot and the programming behind it. Learn about the real-world applications.
    • Class 4: Programming your robot to respond to light. Learn about the real-world applications.
    • Class 5: Final programming project and introduction to the PYTHON programming language.

    *Students must purchase Edison Robot Kit separately.
