    Mirror Pair

    Definition

Two objects form a mirror pair if one can be translated and rotated in such a way that the two objects together possess mirror symmetry, i.e., one is the mirror image of the other one. One of the objects in a mirror pair is often called left-handed and the other one is called right-handed. If each object already possesses mirror symmetry, then both objects look the same.
