    Definition

    A class of curve defined at integer values which hops from one value to another. Their name derives from the Greek word βατραχι ο ν batrachion, which means "small frog." Many batrachions are fractal. Examples include the Blancmange function, Hofstadter-Conway $10, 0 sequence, Hofstadter' s Q-sequence, and Mallows' sequence.
