Club Z! Tutoring: Making Life Easier for Parents and Students for Nearly 20 Years
Being a parent is one of the greatest gifts anyone will ever enjoy – truly priceless! But no one ever said it would be easy. Kids don’t come with instruction manuals. And parents have to work extremely hard, on a full-time, around-the-clock basis, to help them grow into healthy adults. At Club Z!, we get it. That’s why our program is designed with parents and kids in mind. Making your lives easier is what makes us smile! How do we do it?- No long term contracts. It’s hard to keep up with the busy lives of our children – from soccer and dance to homework and projects (“didn’t I tell you that my mardi gras mask is due tomorrow, mom?”) the schedule seems to always be full. But with Club Z! Tutoring, our programs are flexible and require no long term contracts. Our goal is to help your child reach his/her academic goals, period. That happens on different timelines for different children. So our programs follow suit, allowing families to continue with tutoring as long as it is needed. It’s that simple.
- We come to your home. As a parent, one of the MANY hats we wear is that of chauffeur. After all, our kids aren’t getting to soccer and dance on their own! That’s why Club Z! tutors come to you! So you can take care of the 9 zillion other tasks on your to-do list. Plus, students perform better when they’re not stressed. Being in the comfort of their own home takes all the pressure of performing away so they can get the one-on-one attention they need and let their talents and abilities shine through.
- We work around your schedule. Let that one sink in for a minute. Whether it’s after school, evenings, weekends, or during academic breaks, Club Z! tutors work around your busy schedule. That’s after piano lessons, before soccer practice, and in between trips to the craft supply store for school projects. It’s your schedule and we’re there to fit in where it’s most convenient.

No matter how you look at it, college is an expensive proposition these days. Both public and private colleges and universities have had to raise fees and tuition as costs have increased. As a result, college student debt has skyrocketed and many students end up with loan payments years, sometimes even decades, after graduation. But with some careful planning and creative thinking, there are lots of other ways to help pay for college and avoid being stuck with big loan payments after graduation. One final but important step in the college application process is to include an application for financial aid.
As parents, and grandparents for that matter, we consider it to be a bit of a rite of passage to tell our children just how easy they have it compared to what we went through at their age. File this under the “when I was your age, I had to walk 2 miles to school each day, uphill both ways” category.
For any parent of a college-bound student, SAT and ACT test scores are no doubt at the center of most dinner table discussions. While no one will argue that test scores alone are the deciding factor in college admissions, and many colleges are moving toward a test-optional admissions policy, strong scores on the SAT and or ACT can definitely help a student’s chance of gaining admission to his/her college of choice.
